For The Win Media partnered with Cooking Vinyl, a UK-based record label, to handle publicity and public relations for two of their biggest rock artists. The company was responsible for servicing and soliciting all media outlets, including online, print, newspapers, magazines, and television performances for bands. The partnership, which began in May 2016, also involved the creation of various marketing materials. The collaboration was successful, largely due to a pre-existing relationship with the head of Right Angle PR, who had previously worked with Cooking Vinyl.
In another project, For The Win Media collaborated with Lesser Gods, a music books publisher, to raise awareness about their music books among specialized press and general media. The company was tasked with reaching out to the media, sending press releases announcing titles, sending advance books to key people in the media, and acting as a point of contact for dealing with the press. The partnership, which began in mid-2016, has been ongoing and successful, allowing Lesser Gods to gain significant media attention.
