Why Documentaries was hired by the NSW Department of Education to produce a series of eight short videos. The videos were aimed at showcasing how different schools in NSW were implementing the Live Life Well @ School program, an initiative aimed at promoting healthy eating and physical activity among primary school students. The videos were intended to represent a broad range of schools, from small isolated ones to larger regional and suburban schools, including those for students with special needs. The vendor was selected through a public tender process, and their understanding, skills, and sensitivity to work with a variety of schools and students were key factors in their selection.

The project involved the creation of eight videos, each approximately three minutes long, with a shorter 30-second version of each. These videos were to be featured on the NSW Department of Education website, school websites, and a health website jointly commissioned by the NSW Education and Health Departments. The selection of schools, students, and staff was done in conjunction with Why Documentaries, whose ability to engage and "cast" the participants was a significant contributor to the project's success.

The project management process involved listening to a committee of different voices and opinions, as the Live Life Well @ School program was jointly managed with the NSW Health Department. Why Documentaries demonstrated exceptional listening skills and the ability to incorporate all views, satisfying them with skilful suggestions that were incorporated during filming in the schools. The committee reviewed a first version of every video, and feedback was provided to Why Documentaries in the form of a compiled list of requests and suggestions for change. Why Documentaries showed great patience and tact in complying with the various suggestions.
