Highlights from Recent Projects
WE/AR Studio was hired by the IT Ukraine Association to develop an interactive virtual reality product aimed at raising awareness among children in Eastern Ukraine about the danger of mines. The VR experience was designed as a 10-15 minute educational journey, complete with tests and quizzes, and adjusted to the target group's comprehension level. The project was executed by a team of six from WE/AR Studio. The application reflected the real-life environment of Eastern Ukraine, including the types of mines used in the ongoing conflict. The solution allowed for quick data collection of pre-test and post-test to measure learning progress.
The Tourism Education Company engaged WE/AR Studio to create a gamified AR experience accessible via a mobile application for tourism and locals in Amsterdam. The project involved developing a mobile app for Android and iOS using AR foundation and Unity engine. The app included two modes: Story mode, where users could view short animated stories in AR with voiceover, and a play zone, where users could place AR characters in their environment and interact with them. The WE/AR team was responsible for developing UX/UI based on provided brand guidelines, adjusting 3D models for Unity integration, syncing animation with the voiceover, and setting geo-location limitations.
WE/AR Studio was contracted by a fintech company to build the first virtual reality banking app. The project involved developing a VR app for Meta Quest 2 that worked in combination with the company's iOS and Android mobile apps. The scope of work included VR app development using Unity, UX/UI design based on guidelines provided by the in-house design team, 3D development, VFX effects setup, and Space Skybox creation. The WE/AR team adapted the mobile app layout to VR and tied the front end to the company's secure banking backend. The project was executed by a team of four from WE/AR Studio, including a Business Development Manager, a Project Manager, an Assistant Project Manager, and an Account Manager.
