Highlights from Recent Projects
Venture Aviator was hired by a leading point-of-sale (POS) systems company to develop a POS solution for a variety of retailers. The aim was to create a user-friendly web and mobile solution that was fully featured, scalable, and cloud-based. The team consisted of web developers, mobile developers, web designers, a QA, a team lead, and a project manager. The project was successful, with Venture Aviator collaborating with the client's development team on customer experience and UI/UX.
Rentberry, a long-term apartment rental web platform, hired Venture Aviator to build its platform. The team was involved in every stage of the project, designing the architecture, choosing the technologies, and planning each stage of development. The platform included features for property search, application submission, credit report pulling, and maintenance requests. Additionally, a rental auctioning function was developed, allowing users to bid on properties and propose counter offers. Venture Aviator also integrated Dwolla for payment processing and TeleSign for electronic signatures. The project, which started in May 2015 and ended in April 2017, was successful and cost around $1 million.
A boutique investment bank hired Venture Aviator to develop an internal system for dealer and buyer matching. The project involved regular meetings to discuss expectations, improvements, and updates. The team developed a web app for information upload and a back-office platform for information matching. The system, which was launched in June 2017, shows potential buyers for deals sourced in the U.S or European market, and also suggests deals that might be a good fit for the buyers. The project was successful and cost $250,000.
