Upment was engaged by Kensington Diamonds to improve the performance of their Magento website. The website was previously developed by another company, but it had a slow loading time and functionality issues. Upment worked on the site to improve loading time from 7-8 seconds and also resolved any site crashes or security breaches. The client's main point of contact was the founder of Upment, Yane, and a team of 2-3 developers. The engagement started in January 2018 and is still ongoing. The total investment was about $15,000.
For Rebellious Fashion, an e-commerce business selling women's clothes, Upment was hired to improve the Conversion Rate and manage/overhaul their Systems Architecture. They also worked on speed optimization and helped the client understand how to identify future bottlenecks. Upment liaised with UKfast to set up dedicated servers, worked on an iOS that a third party was developing, implemented a new checkout, ran Stress Tests, integrated a new Affiliate tracking system, and resolved critical issues. The major goal was Conversion Rate improvement. The team composition was James Wayland (Head of Marketing) and a Project Manager dealing with Yane and his team.
A jewelry design company hired Upment to improve the performance and speed of their website. Upment handled system administration, set up the entire server backend, and helped develop the frontend of the Magento site. They migrated from a server version of Magento to a newer version and introduced a more professional development process. They also helped the client get on New Relic to track any issues and resolve them. The client worked with Yane, Neven (PHP Developer, Upment), Mark (General Manager, Upment), and another person from their team. The engagement started in 2016 and is still ongoing with a total investment of about $50,000–$100,000.
