Transparity

Transparity successfully completed a cybersecurity consulting and implementation project for The SR Group, a recruitment company. The project involved enhancing the company's cybersecurity posture and setting up a 24/7 outsourced security operations center (SOC) service within the Microsoft 365 environment. The project, which cost around £175,000, began in May 2023 and is ongoing. Transparity's team used Microsoft Sentinel, Nessus scanning, and had access to all of the company's cybersecurity backend solutions. The project delivery and go-live phases have been completed, and the SOC service is now a regular outsourced service.

In another project, Transparity was hired by Colchester City Council to improve their Microsoft Security Posture. The team of 6-10 employees from Transparity conducted a security assessment and discovery, improved Azure server patching and email security posture, implemented Microsoft PIM, and made improvements to Azure Backup, Microsoft Defender for Cloud, and Microsoft Defender for Identity. The council chose Transparity due to their high ratings, budget-friendly pricing, and great culture fit.

Lastly, Transparity assisted a social care organization in migrating their on-premises infrastructure to Azure, and in utilizing Intune and Autopilot. The organization's infrastructure was out of support and was no longer secure, so they wanted to shift the workload from their office infrastructure to the cloud. Transparity successfully built new domain controllers in Azure, migrated the key roles across, and built the Autopilot profiles. The engagement, which took place in August 2022, was a success and improved the organization's security and device management.
