Highlights from Recent Projects
Transparity, a UK-based digital transformation company, has completed several noteworthy projects. In one instance, they were employed by a university in London to provide risk management review for their Microsoft applications. The project's focus was on mitigating risk associated with these applications rather than reviewing low-level code. Transparity created a master spreadsheet containing a register of the client's software applications, which included key information about each application. They also conducted a licensing assessment for the client's Office 365. The client was reportedly pleased with the result and has since added more detail to the documentation as recommended by Transparity.
In another project, Transparity provided custom software development for a healthcare management software company. The company, part of a children’s hospital, had built its own record-keeping software for patients but struggled with providing ongoing support. Transparity not only offered a fixed-price support agreement but also provided a review of the company's application, hosted in Microsoft Azure, and suggested improvements. They have been working together since December 2019, focusing also on enhancing the product.
Transparity also helped a software company, The Care Database, with custom software development. The company previously had an existing product created with another provider but turned to Transparity when the platform's growth outpaced the other provider's capabilities. Transparity took over the existing platform and developed a patient management system for a children's hospital, which included features for recording patient notes, care plans, referrals, bookings, and rostering. This engagement, which began in December 2019, is still ongoing.
