Toucan Systems, a renowned software development company, was contracted by an audiovisual company to create a comprehensive multimedia application for an interactive exhibit. The project required integration with hardware in addition to software and design, a challenge that Toucan Systems met with their extensive experience and good reputation. The team at Toucan Systems designed, programmed, and implemented the application, integrating it with the necessary hardware. The interactive applications were developed in Unity. The project was managed by a board, a project manager, an art director, and an installer, with unknown additional team members involved in programming and graphic design.
In another project, Toucan Systems worked with Group AV to create an interactive solution for the Museum of Amber in Gdańsk. The goal was to create a modern, elegant, and accessible interactive part of the exhibition, meeting a tight deadline before the winter holidays. Toucan Systems prepared a multimedia setting for interactive workstations within the museum, including a high-resolution interactive map of amber fossils, a virtual dressing room for amber jewelry, and several multimedia games. All multimedia workstations were controlled by Toucan Systems NEST, a comprehensive management system for AV installations. The project was managed by a project manager, two Unity developers, a graphic designer, and two net engineers.
Toucan Systems was also responsible for a multimedia exhibition for an AV integrator, which included projection mapping on 32 projectors and an exhibition management system. The project was based on preliminary documentation developed by the client and detailed solutions designed by Toucan Systems. The software was prepared in Unity and web technologies. The project involved about 10 people from Toucan Systems, including the board of directors, project manager, team leader, art director, and technician. The project is currently in the maintenance stage, which Toucan Systems is reliably fulfilling.
