Toucan Systems

Toucan Systems was hired by an audiovisual company to create a comprehensive multimedia application and system for an interactive exhibit. The project required multidisciplinary skills, including software design and hardware integration. Toucan Systems was chosen due to their extensive experience and good reputation. They designed, programmed, and implemented the application, using Unity for development. The team included the board, project manager, art director, and installer. The client had no direct contact with the programmers and graphic designers.

For the Museum of Amber in Gdańsk, Toucan Systems was contracted to create a modern and elegant interactive solution. The project was time-sensitive and required compliance with usability and accessibility standards. Toucan Systems was chosen due to their track record of meeting deadlines and requirements. They prepared a multimedia setting for interactive workstations, including a high-resolution interactive map, a virtual dressing room, and several multimedia games. All workstations were managed by Toucan Systems' NEST service. The team included a project manager, two Unity developers, a graphic designer, and two net engineers.

Working with an AV integrator, Toucan Systems was responsible for projection mapping on 32 projectors and an exhibition management system for a multimedia exhibition with about 100 stands. Their ongoing maintenance contract has been fulfilled reliably. Toucan Systems was chosen for their experience and reputation for executing projects well. The project was based on preliminary documentation developed by the client, and Toucan Systems used Unity and web technologies to prepare the software. The team included the board of directors, project manager, team leader, art director, and technician.
