Synoptek, formerly known as Indusa, worked with Champion Home Exteriors, a home retail and manufacturing company, to implement a Microsoft Dynamics AX ERP system in all of their 52 retail stores. The previous attempt at implementation had failed, leaving the company in need of a lower cost alternative. Synoptek provided technical and functional consulting services, focusing initially on financial functionality to replace the existing accounting system. They implemented general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable functionality for all stores, and also provided training and ongoing support. The total investment for this project was between $250,000 and $500,000 and the work is ongoing. The feedback from the client has been positive.

Synoptek also worked with Alliance for Audited Media, a member association of print and digital publishers, to replace an outdated custom accounting system with a new commercial accounting inventory system. The previous vendor had been unsuccessful in implementing Microsoft Dynamics. Synoptek redesigned and implemented the technology, provided training for users, automated accounting and finance components, and implemented some employee self-service modules. The project also included the implementation of a CRM online. The total investment for this project was between $200,000 and $1 million, and the work is ongoing. The client has expressed satisfaction with the work done by Synoptek.
