Subpixel

Subpixel was hired by Alpine Metal Tech to assist with programming tasks, specifically C# and Halcon. Their project centered around developing a specialized camera system for reading data matrix codes in severe industrial environments. Subpixel was brought on board due to their established relationship and the recognized quality of their work. During the project, Subpixel worked independently on tasks and assignments defined by Alpine Metal Tech, who also managed the product.

A general automation company hired Subpixel for a feasibility study on the implementation of machine vision for a custom device. The goal was to validate the concept and decide on subsequent steps. Subpixel was chosen based on their proven track record and the confidence that they could deliver the desired results. The Subpixel team developed test steps, prepared and tested a rough model using available industrial cameras and procedures.

ASEMO, an industrial engineering and mechatronics company, engaged Subpixel for the development of a computer vision software solution for high precision measurement of small components. The goal was to achieve in-line optical inspection of the component with a standard deviation below 1 micron. Subpixel was selected based on a former working relationship. They provided the appropriate equipment (camera and lens), designed and developed the solution, and offered consultation services to the ASEMO team. In addition, Subpixel provided training to improve ASEMO's team's expertise in computer vision services.
