Highlights from Recent Projects
Stitch Marketing Research was employed by a liberal arts university in San Diego to conduct a series of focus groups with students and parents. The main objective was to understand their health and safety concerns about the upcoming fall 2020 semester amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. Over the course of a week, Stitch held eight focus groups via Zoom and delivered an insights report outlining the most feasible options for the university. This comprehensive report, which cost approximately $82,000, also included suggestions and considerations for implementation. The engagement lasted from April to May 2020.
In another project, an on-demand fitness class company hired Stitch Marketing Research to gain a deeper understanding of their target market. With the COVID-19 lockdown measures in place, the company aimed to capitalize on the increased number of people working out at home. Stitch helped the company draft a survey and collect responses from their client base. They then analyzed the data, providing a detailed analysis of their current client base and their potential on-demand target market. The company appreciated the constant contact and support provided by the Stitch team throughout the project.
Stitch Marketing Research was brought on board by a hookah tobacco manufacturer to conduct market research to inform their new flavor launch strategy. The project involved a two-part process: firstly, to understand what makes a successful flavor popular and, secondly, to conduct ongoing market research on flavor trends. Stitch worked closely with the company's Marketing and R&D teams to create a moderator guide and conduct a focus group involving regular hookah users. The company was impressed with Stitch's creative approach to finding answers in a niche industry with little pre-existing research.
