Statistics Solutions assisted a healthcare IT company to analyze data from a national marketing survey they conducted. They analyzed responses from 1,000 to 1,250 respondents, looking at several variables and demographics. They performed comparison and correlation to find out if different roles in the organization had different feelings about telephone usage or communication. The results of the analysis were satisfactory and the person in charge of the finances was pleased with the value relative to price. The project was completed in June 2013 after the data was collected through February of the same year and the results were published in May.
In another project, Statistics Solutions collaborated with a strategic human resources firm to create a data analysis reporting tool. They performed two beta tests with large organizations, helped align the reporting methodology, and did all the testing of the scales. They also conducted a study with 500 to 600 people in St. John in New Brunswick, Canada, where they did all the data analysis and helped look at the results. The goal was to build a tool that could be validated and scaled, as well as create an automatic report writer. The latest milestone for this project was completed a month ago, after spending a year working on getting the contract in place.
