Softacom was hired by Microcom A/S, a supplier of Point of Sales solutions and e-commerce integrations, to modernize their Point of Sales GUI and develop a new system for a client. The project entailed creating a new POS frontend to Business Central for a large Danish hardware store chain from scratch. Softacom was responsible for the graphical design, prototyping, programming of the GUI, and developing the integration to BC. The project, which cost over $600,000, is still ongoing. The team comprised of 1-2 back end developers, 1-2 front end developers, a tester, a BA, and a part-time PM.
