SmashBrand was engaged by Curation Foods to rebrand the packaging for their Avocado Party Product. The goal was to rejuvenate the brand, which had been in the market for over 25 years and was experiencing stagnant growth. SmashBrand conducted a brand exploration, assessing the strengths and weaknesses of the brand and its position in the market. They then proposed three different directions for the rebrand, which were tested and narrowed down to one. Despite initial reservations about consumer retention, the team decided to go for an overhaul supported by data. The final designs revolved around the product packaging, including product image renderings, print-ready files, and nutritional information. SmashBrand has since taken over Curation Foods' communication strategy as well, performing brand-specific ad work. The total cost of the project was between $150,000 and $200,000.

Nuton, a health food firm, contracted SmashBrand to help them differentiate their product in a highly competitive market. The company was launching a new brand and needed help with the design of packaging and labels. SmashBrand assisted in developing the brand name, creating a story behind it, and developing the design for the label and box for the first two products. They also helped with messaging and positioning. Since then, Nuton has launched five additional products, for which SmashBrand also designed the artwork. The main scope of work took place between March and May 2017.

SmashBrand was hired by Snuggle Puppy, a dog product company, to assist with packaging design. The company was launching a new product for kids and needed retail packaging. SmashBrand conducted a pre-market analysis to understand the competition, price points, and store placement. They then presented several packaging options and tested them with customers to gather feedback. Based on this, a final design was chosen. SmashBrand then executed the packaging design. The total cost of the project was about $400,000. The first project started in August 2021, and the second project started in November 2022 and ended in April 2023.
