SMART NET

SMART NET was hired by a leading electronics retailer in Ukraine to manage a migration from their old main firewall and router to Fortigate NGFW. The network administrator, who had previous experience working with SMART NET, led the project. The process began with an audit of the existing firewall and router, followed by the development of an optimal design and migration plan. The migration to Fortigate was then carried out collaboratively. Two engineers from SMART NET worked on this project. The transition was seamless and efficient, leading to a successful project completion.

In another project, SMART NET provided DevOps support to a capital markets tech company. The CEO of the company sought SMART NET's expertise for system integration and DevOps. SMART NET began by conducting ad hoc work as the company expanded its computer systems operations monitoring. The team provided remote level one and level two operations assistance, handled overnight shutdowns and startup processes, and performed integration work on weekends. They also assisted in strengthening the company's services in the event of system failures and implemented redundancy. The team, which initially consisted of 3-4 people, was already familiar with the company's data center and software operations, making them a natural fit for the project. The company invested between $250,000 and $500,000 in this project, which began in Q4 of 2019 and continues to date. The CEO reported that the engagement has worked out well for the company.
