SMART NET

SMART NET was hired by a major electronics retailer in Ukraine to manage a crucial migration from their old main firewall and router to Fortigate NGFW. The network and security administrator of the retailer had previously worked with SMART NET and was confident in their capabilities. SMART NET first audited the old Firewall and router, proposed an optimal design and migration plan, and then migrated to Fortigate in collaboration with the client. Two engineers from SMART NET worked on this project. The project was successfully completed, enhancing the client's network security and efficiency.

For a Capital Markets Tech Company, SMART NET provided DevOps support and system integration help. The company, predominant in the US options market space, engaged SMART NET to expand their computer systems operations monitoring. SMART NET provided level one and level two operations assistance remotely, conducted training sessions, monitored the systems, and handled overnight shutdowns and start-up processes. They also worked on integration during the weekends and helped strengthen services in the event of system failures. The team from SMART NET, initially comprising of 3-4 people, was already familiar with the client's data center and software operations, having been engaged with the company earlier. The client invested between $250,000–$500,000 in this ongoing relationship that began in Q4 of 2019. The partnership has been successful, with SMART NET proving to be a natural fit for the client's needs.
