SMAAT Apps & Technologies

SMAAT Apps & Technologies collaborated with a productivity startup to develop a mobile application targeted at semi-professional individuals for planning, tasking, and task management. The goal was to launch the app as a proof of concept and potentially grow the user base. The selection process was carried out through Elance.com and the project cost was approximately $11,000. The development took longer than the initial six weeks target due to the need for extensive backend development. Despite the delay, the client acknowledged that the extended timeframe was not entirely the fault of SMAAT Apps & Technologies.

In another project, SMAAT Apps & Technologies worked with a company founded in 2012 that aimed to create a social networking app for dog lovers. The client had initially hired a different set of developers whose slow and unsatisfactory work led to a loss of almost nine months. The work of SMAAT Apps & Technologies was seen as a significant improvement, producing more in one month than the previous developers had in nine. The scope of the project was to recreate the UX/UI for Android and iOS apps, with ongoing support provided using the agile development methodology. The backend was built on AWS to ensure scalability up to 100 million users. The project, which cost around $20,000, was completed in July 2014 and SMAAT Apps & Technologies continues to provide support and development for future versions of the app.
