Shockoe was hired by SMARTBOX, a leading provider of portable moving and storage solutions, to manage and maintain their proprietary operations management software. The goal was to create a unified system for customer interactions, including CRM, scheduling, payment processing, document management, and reporting. Shockoe successfully converted customer data from a legacy system into the new platform, developed APIs for e-document management, texting, and e-commerce integration, and enhanced features such as integrated email campaigns, extensive reporting, and appointment management.

Shockoe was engaged by an assistant professor from a public university on the East Coast to develop an app for a research study. The app, designed to help musicians be more efficient in their practice time, was developed for iOS with a user-friendly design and functionality. Shockoe was instrumental in the app's final design and user experience, conducting interviews with potential users to ensure the app was intuitive. The project ran from August 2017 to March 2018, with a budget of between $28,000-$30,000.

A freight services company hired Shockoe to assist with the UX/UI design of their native mobile app, which supports their truck drivers. The app provides drivers with information about their pay, safety points, schedules, and allows communication with the company and fleet managers. Shockoe worked on the app's UX/UI, helped implement best practices, and also assisted with some marketing aspects related to the app. The engagement, which cost between $100,000-$250,000, began in November 2015 and ended in July 2019.
