Highlights from Recent Projects
SEP was hired by a global leader in water treatment to create two mobile applications aimed at improving business efficiency. The first application was designed for dealers to connect and configure water treatment devices via Bluetooth, while the second was geared towards end consumers, enabling homeowners to connect their water treatment products via their mobile devices. The project, which lasted less than a year, was executed by a team of software engineers, UX/UI designers, and an engagement manager from SEP. The client praised SEP for their technical competencies, program management skills, and cultural fit with their organization.
For TechPoint, a nonprofit working to grow the tech ecosystem in Indiana, SEP developed a custom database from scratch. The project involved cleaning and organizing the client's data, deciding on the best long-term solution for the organization, and linking the database with Google products for reporting capabilities. The project team included SEP's CEO, project manager, design lead, and a software and senior engineer. The client chose SEP for their ability to listen to client needs and customize a solution. The database was developed between June and August 2018, and SEP continues to provide web maintenance services and troubleshooting.
SEP was engaged by Rolls-Royce Defense to build a proof of concept for managing data access and management. The project involved an on-site workshop discussing the idea, with a detailed whiteboard session on cloud services, technical stacks, technologies, networking, and latency concerns. The client worked with two full-time SEP employees, a Senior Architect and a Senior Software Engineer, with additional support from 5-8 other people as necessary. The client, who has worked with SEP for over 30 years, commended them for their quality results and technical expertise.
