Ratio worked with BYU Broadcasting to develop an Xbox 360 application for their content, a project valued at over $300,000. The aim was to deliver BYU's live TV and on-demand video through game consoles. Ratio developed the application using the backend and API provided by BYU. Despite initial uncertainties due to the specialized skill set required, Ratio successfully completed the project, earning the trust of BYU. The application was launched on April 22, 2014. BYU appreciated Ratio's straightforward and honest approach, and considered them ongoing partners for maintaining and updating the app.

In a separate project, Ratio was engaged by a publishing company to develop a mobile application platform. The company had made a strategic decision to enter the digital space through mobile rather than the web. With no in-house development team, they turned to Ratio, who built applications for iOS, HP operating system, Android, and Windows 8. The relationship lasted three years, during which Ratio was involved in all phases of the project, from concept through execution and delivery to maintenance. The client particularly appreciated the unique skills of Ratio's chief strategy officer, Russ Whitman, who was able to contribute both business and marketing expertise as well as technical knowledge.
