The goal of the project was to enhance IT functionality, improve security, streamline user engagement, and reduce hardware infrastructure. The project involved multiple discovery meetings, background checks, strategic goal discussions, and negotiations. The team from Homer Bonner primarily consisted of the managing partner, their controller, and an in-house IT asset.
In a separate project, Preemo IT Support was employed by Al-Farooq Corp, a structural engineering company, to provide managed IT services, continue IT infrastructure buildout, troubleshoot, and manage data and security. The aim of this project was to improve Al-Farooq Corp's existing IT infrastructure and find a more reliable IT service provider. Preemo's tasks included configuring new servers, increasing backup devices, implementing 2-factor authentication, and daily IT troubleshooting. Al-Farooq Corp's staff worked directly with Preemo's staff, with an account manager being accessible when needed.
Another law firm hired Preemo IT Support for their managed IT services. The firm needed both on-site and off-site support for all their end users. Preemo's tasks ranged from fixing printers to managing servers and IT hardware. They also configured the firm's wireless network and ensured it was always operational, even after hours. When the firm moved to a new office space, Preemo built their servers and rewired the entire suite to ensure the ethernet drops were located where needed. They were also instrumental in setting up the entire team to work remotely during the COVID-19 pandemic. The firm's team worked with 3-4 lead technicians from Preemo on a regular basis and additional people were brought on when needed.
