Patagonian

visit site

Patagonian started out in 2013 as the garage tech project of two engineers that did not want to leave their hometown in Patagonia, and have since evolved into a multinational tech company with development centers in Argentina, Colombia and offices in the USA.

The region, with an untapped talent pool, top universities and a thriving economic ecosystem, is an ideal emplacement to develop the arcadian tech community we envision, with the perfect work life balance.

From there, Patagonian exports world class services to the US, EU and LATAM regions, to companies big and small in an eclectic array of industries.

Patagonian was hired by Grupo Prima, a fruits supplier and manufacturer, to support their in-house core applications due to the rapid growth of the business. The technology solutions company, chosen for its responsibility and growth prospects, provided a senior .NET developer to work with the manufacturer's .NET, JSON, XML and SQL Server technologies. In the coming weeks, additional resources will be hired to develop Business Intelligence.

In the second project, Patagonian partnered with the nonprofit organization, Grapevine.org, to aid in the continual addition of new features on their platform. Patagonian was selected due to their responsiveness, transparency, and affordable pricing. They provided two full-time engineers to work with the team, participating in weekly sprints, daily standups, and maintaining constant communication. They were also tasked with front-end and back-end web development.

The third project involved the American Bird Conservancy (ABC), where Patagonian was hired to develop a custom website for the Bird City Network program. With an investment of over $100,000, Patagonian provided all the design and development work, creating a site that was user-friendly and a powerful tool for ABC's operations. The website features an application and review platform that automatically generates a page on the site's front end once a program's application is approved. The engagement lasted from May 2022 to February 2023.
