Paradigm was hired by Advanced ERP, a company developing ERP solutions for small businesses, to help reduce development costs. The company had an existing offshore team in India, but they were becoming more expensive. As a solution, Paradigm was tasked with developing older systems used for commercial laundries on newer technologies. The team, which included a project lead, two UI developers, and a backend developer, was recommended by a friend of the CEO of Advanced ERP. They decided to use Python for the backend development of this browser-based system. The project, which started in January 2021, is ongoing and has so far cost around $5,000.
