OnDemandStartups

OnDemandStartups partnered with a social media startup to develop an iOS and Android app. The startup aimed to make friendship and romantic connections easier through voice communication. OnDemandStartups took on the software development work for the app and additional necessary infrastructure. They assembled two teams to work on the iOS and Android versions of the app, also offering extensive backend development based on the AWS platform. The engagement, which began in February 2020, involved a team of 8-9 people from OnDemandStartups, including both senior and junior app developers.

In collaboration with Rimfjord AS and Bate Boligbyggelag, an IT services company called Seniordev AS built a new startup called Fiksa and sought the services of OnDemandStartups for application development. The goal was to deliver a software package that would meet Fiksa's business requirements. OnDemandStartups was chosen after an online search and several demos. The project involved going through business requirements, creating clickable prototypes, and then implementation. The team was composed of a product owner, a scrum master, a designer, a back-end developer, a front-end developer, and two app developers, with a representative from Fiksa serving as project manager.

OnDemandStartups worked with Boon4 Network Malaysia SDN BHD, a delivery company, to develop a mobile application for their delivery services. The company founder sought a platform similar to Uber's, but tailored for delivery services. OnDemandStartups built the whole system, including a backend admin panel, a website where users can post jobs, and a native app for iOS and Android for senders and drivers. The project began in September 2018 and was completed in three months, though the collaboration continued. The company invested $33,000 in the project, working with a backend developer and a product owner from OnDemandStartups.
