Highlights from Recent Projects
Olibro Design undertook a web design and development project for a non-profit organization providing financial aid to disadvantaged students. The client had an outdated site and required a new one. Initially, Olibro gathered the client's key requirements and formalized these into a specification document. The team, which included the owner, interface/graphic designer, back-end developers, and front-end developers, then used WordPress as the main development platform to design the style, theme, and user interface of the site. The client had previously worked with Olibro and was confident in their expertise, leading to a successful completion of the project.
The company also took on a complex project for a historical nonprofit, which involved developing two websites. Given the client's budget restraints and expanding needs, they sought Olibro's professional assistance. One of the websites was in Persian, a right-to-left language, and required most plugins to be developed from scratch. With the help of the lead designer, lead developer, and the CEO, Olibro Design managed to successfully deliver the websites using WordPress. The client had previously worked with Olibro and was impressed with their skills and ability to meet challenges head-on.
Olibro Design was hired by Kavella, a haircare brand, to move their website from WooCommerce to Shopify. The objective was to combine their B2B and B2C platforms into one. After interviewing five companies, the founder and CEO of Kavella chose Olibro due to their understanding of the project's requirements and reasonable pricing. The project involved discovery calls, creating a launch sequence, finalizing details, and troubleshooting. The team, consisting of the owner and a designer, successfully completed the project, meeting the client's expectations.
