NordWhale

NordWhale worked with the University of California, San Francisco to develop a blockchain-based storage platform for radiographic exam results. The platform was designed to facilitate the transfer of medical data between institutions and empower patients to own their personal data. NordWhale created a private InterPlanetary File System (IPFS) network to comply with medical privacy standards and a patient-facing portal to securely access and donate data. The project, which ran from February to November 2018, was completed within the $30,000-$35,000 budget. NordWhale was hired by ModulTrade, a blockchain-based global trade platform, to develop their marketplace. The goal of the project was to create a secure, cost-effective ecosystem for global trade.
