Mekanic was hired by a national sporting goods association to redesign their website. The company faced challenges with their existing website, which lacked flexibility and customization options. Mekanic was tasked with elevating the website's aesthetics and transitioning to a more flexible CMS system. The new website was built on WordPress to provide the needed flexibility for custom wireframes and pages. The project involved a team led by Alex, the COO, a website creation point person, and a development lead. The collaboration started in November 2021, with a projected cost between $50,000-$80,000.

The American Public Transportation Association engaged Mekanic to modernize their 20-year-old logo. Mekanic studied the old logo, conducted interviews with the CEO and senior leadership teams, and surveyed key industry constituents. They demonstrated how the new logo would appear on marketing materials, conference giveaways, and the website, essentially providing the company with a new visual identity. The final deliverables included an animated logo and a style guide. The team consisted of Erik, the Co-Founder & CEO, Michele, the Engagement Manager, and Darryl, the Creative Director. The Oncology Nursing Certification Corporation (ONCC) hired Mekanic for branding services. The project's goals included defining the value of certification among key stakeholders, identifying key messages to support this value, and developing recommendations for brand strategy and implementation.
