Highlights from Recent Projects
Mediacurrent partnered with a pet insurance company to improve the scalability, SEO, and site administration of its website. They developed custom components for the existing Drupal site, allowing new Flex pages to be created. The team also restored admin control and worked with an SEO vendor to optimize the site. The project was a long-term engagement that started in November 2016 and is ongoing. The company invested between $50,000-$200,000 into the project.
In another project, Mediacurrent worked with a Midwestern law firm, Freeborn & Peters, to upgrade their outdated website. The company chose Drupal as the content management system for its open-source nature and excellent support. Mediacurrent took a basic design and applied a theme to it, building the backend functionality from scratch. They also handled data prep work and information architecture. The project, which cost around $100,000, was launched in March 2013.
Lastly, Mediacurrent was hired by an online resource for high-school students to rebuild their platform and move part of their website to a Drupal CMS. The team rebuilt the entire frontend from scratch, moving the platform from a custom-built Java application to a Drupal CMS. The client provided the design materials, which Mediacurrent utilized in the rebuild. The project, which started in February 2018, is ongoing and has cost the client around $500,000.
