Lightmatter partnered with Coterie, a direct-to-consumer party supply business, for ongoing tech maintenance and updates. The team at Lightmatter focused on updating the Shopify site based on branding changes, fixing bugs, launching new products, and adding functionalities. They made major changes to optimize the website for mobile use and revamped the shopping experience based on user experience surveys. Despite scaling back due to the coronavirus, the engagement that started in 2019 continues. During maintenance mode, the investment was approximately $5,000 a month, which increased to around $25,000 during major pushes.

The EdTech startup engaged Lightmatter to assist in the initial processes at the early stages of their company. The team at Lightmatter was tasked with managing a series of design processes and developing a no-code prototype within a limited timeframe and budget. The engagement, which cost under $10,000, ran from November 2020 to January 2021. The team comprised of three people from Lightmatter.

Lightmatter was hired by Hospital for Special Surgery for IT consulting and system integration. The team of 6-10 employees was tasked with performing discovery discussions to outline project scope, timeline, and estimated costs related to building a product to address user needs. Key deliverables included a project plan, cost and timeline estimates, resources required for the project, IT development roadmap, cybersecurity assessment, and process maps for current and future state. The selection of Lightmatter was based on their high ratings, proximity, great culture fit, and aligned company values.
