The Naughty Greek, a brand with two restaurants, sought the expertise of Ideas that Kick to transition from the medical device industry into the restaurant business. The brand owner was familiar with branding but lacked experience in the hospitality industry. Ideas that Kick helped develop a brand that extended beyond mere logos, images, or colors. They also assisted in interior design, the overall brand feel, and user experience within the restaurants. The brand was able to expand to two locations without rebranding or creating new logos. The project, which began in June 2016, cost around $70,000 and is ongoing.

Ideas that Kick partnered with a statewide arts advocacy nonprofit in March 2014 to manage the branding and design of their research book and website. The company reviews their partnership every two years to update both the book and the website. Ideas that Kick initially designed the book, established a theme and logo for the project, and worked with a web designer to make the site consistent with the book's design. The project, which cost about $100,000, is still ongoing.

Minnesota Opera, a regional opera company, collaborated with Ideas that Kick from August 2016 to November 2017 to create a brand identity that aligned with the organization's ongoing needs and future. The project started with a research phase, which included focus groups and surveys to understand current perceptions of the company. Ideas that Kick then turned these into brand insights that were applied to the marketing strategy. The result was a series of rebranding suggestions, including strategic messaging, a logo change, and a practical brand launch campaign. The website was also redesigned to reflect the new brand. The project cost approximately $100,000.
