Honeycomb Softwares

Honeycomb Softwares was hired by Comprehensive Adult Student Assessment Systems (CASAS) to develop an automated system for managing a large-scale test publishing item bank. The project was initiated from scratch, with Honeycomb Softwares developing a web-based app that could be accessed securely across the United States. The system was built on a SQL Server backend and initially used a Silverlight frontend, which Honeycomb later upgraded to Angular following Microsoft's discontinuation of Silverlight. Two senior engineers from Honeycomb Softwares worked on the project. The client had previously worked with Honeycomb on a smaller project and was satisfied with their skills and professionalism.

The Petroleum Data Library (PDL) hired Honeycomb Softwares to develop an online portal that enables members to perform multifaceted searches and procure energy resource information. Honeycomb was chosen from over 100 responses due to their knowledge, communication, and understanding of the project requirements. The scope of work included content and user management, digital asset management, and order management. The project was divided into three key deliverables and was executed by a team of six to seven resources, including developers, a UX designer, a DBA, and testers. The client primarily worked with the owner during the selection process and the project manager during the development process.
