Highlights from Recent Projects
Far Reach was engaged by a cloud-based real estate services company to help build out some of its initial functionality. The company was in its early stages and required the expertise of experienced software developers to help build their product. Far Reach assisted in developing basic services for commercial real estate, building out dashboards and tables for easy information retrieval, and created templates for data importation to expedite the onboarding process. They also worked on calculations for loan and asset values. The engagement, which started in June 2018, is ongoing and the company has invested between $250,000 and $500,000 with Far Reach.
In another project, Far Reach was hired by iEmergent, a housing forecasting and analytics firm, to develop a custom web application incorporating GIS technology. As iEmergent's data became more complex, Far Reach developed the web app using GIS on a cloud server platform, migrating it to a completely Java-based application in its second version. Far Reach also designed and developed iEmergent's website, integrated Sitefinity for self-service updates, and set up Mailchimp for marketing campaigns. The engagement, which began in March 2011, is ongoing and has cost iEmergent $550,000 so far.
Far Reach also worked with GreatAmerica, a national commercial equipment finance company, to modify their Portfolio Services Group ACH processes. The project involved working with frameworks and mockups provided by GreatAmerica to develop services that enabled the cash team to pull accurate files, review the contents, and disperse the information. Far Reach also created enhanced reports. The engagement, which started in October 2012, is ongoing and has cost GreatAmerica about $65,000.
