Elixel

Elixel was hired by a UK-based sleep consultancy firm to develop two mobile applications aimed at improving the sleep patterns of children and young people. The first application, designed for professionals and parents, has been fully completed and launched, while the second app, intended for young users, is still in development. Both applications are available for Android and iOS. They allow users to create sleep profiles, access various resources, create avatars, add team members to a sleep plan, and set reminders. The project, which started in May 2021, is ongoing and has so far cost approximately $150,000.

The University of Plymouth engaged Elixel to revamp an online interactive platform known as the 'research landscape'. The platform maps out the current research challenges for the development of offshore renewable energy in UK waters. Elixel was tasked with improving the platform's user interface, navigation, content organisation, browsing, external linking, and promotion of the Offshore Renewable Energy sector collaboration. The project was awarded to Elixel due to their high ratings, budget-friendly pricing, and great cultural fit. The project team comprised of 2-5 Elixel employees.

A medical company hired Elixel to create a mobile application for self-serve claims administration, with the aim of increasing technology adoption among its members. The project involved designing the app based on the current web-based claims portal. Elixel was responsible for understanding the key problems, user types, and actions in the current claims portal. They designed user flows, created wireframes for testing user journeys, and designed high-fidelity visuals and prototypes. They also provided UI components to the company's development team and ensured quality assurance throughout the project lifecycle. The decision to hire Elixel was influenced by their competitive pricing, cultural fit, aligned company values, and relevant past work.
