Highlights from Recent Projects
Dogtown Media collaborated with LaunchPad Media to develop an iOS and Android mental health tool for a psychiatric association. The app allowed patients to securely transfer personal information to their doctors using QR codes, eliminating the possibility of interception over the cloud or server storage. The project started in January 2020 and was completed in six months, with an investment totaling between $125,000 to $135,000. The LaunchPad Media team was particularly pleased with the senior staff assigned to the project, and the end-users appreciated the best UX possible provided by the native development of the app.
In a project for a University Research Lab, Dogtown Media developed an eHealth decision tool for cancer patients related to genetic testing. They designed and programmed the tool, working closely with the client's team to create wireframes and a full prototype, including educational animated videos. Dogtown was selected for their flexibility and understanding of the vision for the tool. The project involved four people directly from Dogtown, including a VP, a project director, a programmer, and a designer.
Dogtown Media developed a minimum viable product (MVP) for fintech company GetBackd, creating a separate website for tokenizing and fractionalizing loans. The project involved the creation of the platform's initial design, UI, layout, and content. After the completion of the platform, GetBackd re-engaged Dogtown to create designs for their main site and to develop more products. The project, which lasted from April to September 2021, involved 5-6 people from Dogtown Media and cost $20,000.
