Dextechnology was tasked with the development of a media delivery platform for a research and development company. The project involved the creation of a dynamic peer-to-peer network for content delivery, the implementation of the network infrastructure, backend, and a set of APIs. The main development was done in C# and MonoDevelop, with a shift towards Docker containers for easy deployment across various cloud services. The project also included the development of mobile applications for iOS and Android. The client was pleased with the work done by Dextechnology, with the project still ongoing since its commencement in May 2013.
In another project, Dextechnology partnered with Wellbefy AB, a startup that sells digital healthcare products, to develop mobile applications for iOS and Android. The project involved the analysis and rewriting of requirements and specifications from previous products, with Dextechnology providing suggestions for improvements. They also improved the design of the app and developed a better and easier solution for users to manually add activities. The project, which started in April 2016, ended in July 2016, with Dextechnology still providing minor maintenance work.
Dextechnology also worked with Kartina Digital, a Russian IPTV service, to develop native Android and iOS apps for a Russian internet radio station. The apps, developed using Objective C and Java, allow users to listen to music online, load tracks and content, and interact with social networks. The project, which started in 2012, is ongoing, with the client working with a team of five from Dextechnology.
