Highlights from Recent Projects
DevMagic undertook a custom app development project for Skoresheet, a sports streaming company. Skoresheet had been struggling to develop a scoring application for baseball and basketball games for almost eight years, with previous vendors failing to complete the project. DevMagic was brought on board to develop the app from scratch. They provided custom development for the minimum viable product (MVP) based on the specifications and roadmap provided by Skoresheet. The project, which started in late August 2020, is expected to finish in April 2021, ahead of schedule. The project cost is projected to reach $80,000 by its conclusion. Skoresheet plans to continue working with DevMagic for minor updates and changes after the app's completion.
DevMagic was hired by an infrastructure company to develop custom software to identify bottlenecks, reduce transport chain costs, and eliminate noise between players. The company had a robust operational infrastructure and needed its own technological solutions to enhance productivity and gain full control of its operation. DevMagic was chosen based on recommendations after the company had bad experiences with other vendors. The project involved the generation of real-time information such as arrival times of trucks and wagons, unloaded vehicle schedules, wagon lists, and operational situations of unloading sites. DevMagic used JavaScript technologies like Angular, Ionic, NodeJS for the project, and hosted the systems on AWS. An eight-member team from DevMagic, including a software engineer, UX/UI, and software developers, worked on the project.
