DevEngineering worked with Hidden Springs Maple, a maple syrup distributor, to transition their website from Zen Cart to Drupal. The company was seeking a more robust and customer-friendly user interface, and DevEngineering's expertise in Drupal made them an ideal choice. The team of five to six people, including graphic designers, QA testers, and developers, worked on the look and feel of the site while preserving its basic functionalities. The project took about nine months, during which the entire database was converted from Zen Cart to Drupal without any data loss or need for manual reconfiguration. The engagement started two and a half years ago and has included four major development pushes and several minor tweaks.

In another project, DevEngineering was hired by a publishing company to develop and implement an online resource center for their advertising publication. The resource center aimed to provide users with access to a wide range of value-added content like case studies, white papers, and videos. While the publishing company handled the visual design, DevEngineering was responsible for developing the systems architecture and the user experience using Drupal. The project team consisted of a project manager and three to four developers working in the background. The director of engineering at the publishing company had previously worked with DevEngineering at an online marketing agency and brought them in due to their positive past experience. The resource center project has recently been completed.
