Cutwater was hired by a search engine company to assist in the transition of their advertisers to mobile platforms. The company wanted to help their advertisers understand the shift to mobile and how it would affect their customer base. Cutwater was involved early on in the process, helping to gain audience insights and overcome creative challenges. They helped to develop the concept of 'micro-moments', a shift in the buying process due to the transition to mobile. The collaboration resulted in the creation of several creative assets, including videos and visual designs. The project ran from February 2014 to December 2016.

Cutwater was chosen by the National Marine Manufacturers Association to refresh their Discover Boating brand. The company wanted to understand their target market and execute a media strategy. Cutwater was selected for their cohesive approach to brand building and their ability to connect a business' needs to the brand. The scope of work included strategy development, research, creative planning, production planning and execution, and media planning and execution. The project involved a core team of 4-5 people and a larger pool of talent across different departments.

Russell Stover, a leader in the chocolate gifting industry, hired Cutwater to create a lasting brand and communication platform. The goal was to remind consumers of the joy of giving Russell Stover products every day. Cutwater was selected for their capabilities, work ethic, and commitment to moving brands forward. The scope of work included positioning, platform development, and creative execution across various touchpoints including television, digital/social media, and in-store. The project involved close collaboration with the client's in-house creative and marketing teams.
