Crushpix Video Production Company was hired by the Center for Mediation and Counseling to create an animated video of a book with nine metaphors addressing social issues. The CEO of the Center, a Forensic Psychologist and author, wanted to share these metaphors with professionals in a safe and engaging way. The video was designed to be an instructional tool for mental health professionals, teachers, and families to address contemporary social issues with their clients, students, and family members. The project was a great success, with the video winning the "Best Instructional Feature" award at the Indie Film Festival and the "Best Animated Feature" at the Davis International Film Festival.
Crushpix Video Production Company was engaged by Squeegee Press to turn a workshop into a video series. The co-owners of the company, who taught 5-7 day-long workshops across the United States and around the world, wanted to make their workshops accessible to people who couldn't attend in person and provide a resource for those who had attended to refer back to. The video series was scripted by the owners, but Crushpix helped with positioning, angles, and lighting during filming, and took care of all editing, including integrating closed-captioning into the video. The project ran from September 2017 to March 2019, costing between $20,000 and $35,000, which the clients felt was inexpensive for the amount of work done.
Nordock, a manufacturer of loading dock equipment, engaged Crushpix Video Production Company to produce a live-action video demonstrating their product in action. The goal was to show all aspects of the loading and unloading process and how their product differentiates from competitive designs. The video was designed to simulate different loading and operating sequences, and the way their equipment allows for a true seal in a loading dock doorway. The project was completed in December 2019 for approximately $5,000. The clients were pleased with the flexibility and the quality of work provided by Crushpix.
