Highlights from Recent Projects
Covalent was hired by Heavyweight Agency, a full-service marketing agency, to assist in various UI and UX projects. The projects primarily involved designing mobile apps and websites. Covalent's designs were then used by Heavyweight Agency's developers to implement solutions for their clients. The partnership was initiated through a referral, and the collaboration included Covalent's UI and UX designers and project managers. The feedback from Heavyweight Agency's clients regarding Covalent's work was consistently positive.
Covalent was hired by MiSeia, a public safety company, to design, develop, and maintain their app and company website. The app, developed for iOS and Android, included features using geo-fence technologies, safety tracking systems, a communication platform, reporting, and an emergency response feature with emergency contacts and information pages. MiSeia's CEO was introduced to Covalent by another founder and found the team to be a perfect fit in understanding their vision, advising on product design and development, and offering reasonable pricing. The team from Covalent included a product manager, a designer, and several developers.
Covalent was again engaged by MiSeia, this time for the development and design of their personal safety platform. The project started with initial meetings to define the scope, which led to the creation of UI/UX designs and the setup of a website hosted on AWS. Covalent's team, which included the CEO, a product manager, designers, and developers, built the iOS and Android app from scratch. The app included various features for emergency and prevention services, and the team is currently developing a feature that maps out the safest travel routes based on police data. The collaboration began in September 2021 and is ongoing, with MiSeia investing approximately $56,000.
