Highlights from Recent Projects
Clay undertook a UI/UX design and usability testing project for i360, a data analytics firm. The company wanted to overhaul their portal, which is a central product used by their customers. Clay helped to revamp the usability and UI/UX of their web-based application using .NET Core, Angular, and various database technologies. Clay's team listened to i360's use cases, identified workflows that could be optimized, and translated these into workflow diagrams and basic wireframes. The collaboration began in September 2018 and concluded in January 2019.
For Skylum Software, a computer software company, Clay developed a new website for their product, Luminar AI. The project kicked off with an initial meeting to discuss goals, followed by several calls where Clay's team suggested ideas. After approval of the main points, production began. The project involved a team of 2-3 people from Clay.
Clay was hired by Upli, a financial management app, to redesign their logo, brand colors, and the entire app UI/UX. They started the project with a thorough review of Upli's category and competitors, and then consulted current users about their experience with the app. A brainstorming workshop was held to generate new ideas based on user feedback. The final designs were then put in front of users for final feedback before being deployed to Apple and Google. The project team from Clay included a Project Manager, a Partner Design Lead, and a team of about four other designers.
