Highlights from Recent Projects
Blue Horizon Infotech was hired by FreshAir Sensor, a technology company that detects tobacco and marijuana smoke, to redesign a few pages for their website. The project was initiated as a result of a competition sponsored by FreshAir Sensor through 99designs, which Blue Horizon won against 100 other entrants. The project, which ran from April to June 2016, was successfully completed under the direct supervision of Blue Horizon's proprietor, Xavier. The client invested less than $10,000 in the project.
Blue Horizon Infotech was contracted to develop an online oil and gas marketplace for service providers. The project, which started in January 2015 and ended in 2017, involved building out the entire technical system used by the client today. The platform developed facilitates business connections within the industry, allows customers to evaluate multiple service providers, and request bids. The client, who had two full-time developers from Blue Horizon assigned to the account, invested about $75,000 in the project.
The company was also hired by Chart Marketing Inc., an advertising company, to develop a software that would provide programming and sell advertising in movie theaters across the US. The project, which ran from 2010 to 2017, involved building a web-based application from the ground up. The application allows users to designate a specific length for a TV slot and the individual segments within that, and then let the software select all of the actual programming. The client invested between $100,000 and $150,000 on the project.
