Bitwise Industries

Bitwise Industries, via their division Shift3 Technologies, completed a staff augmentation project for Hedgerow Software, a firm providing software solutions for government environmental and public health agencies. The aim was to develop software specific to the U.S., particularly for California's environmental health agencies. A lone developer was assigned from Shift3 Technologies to help develop the requirements for the California hazardous material program. The project, which was completed using Microsoft's .NET framework, spanned from March to December 2017 and cost over $200,000. The client expressed satisfaction with the developer's work, which was critical in completing their database engine.

Shift3 Technologies was also contracted by real estate firm Listing Alert to develop a SaaS mobile product. The aim was to reduce the time between brokers receiving a listing and when it is shared on the market. Starting with an idea on paper, Shift3 Technologies scoped the project and connected the client with the appropriate marketing team. The firm developed a SaaS application downloadable from Google Play or Apple store, with a web portal serving as a backend management platform. The development process spanned from September 2018 to April 2019, costing between $50,000 and $100,000. The client was pleased with Shift3 Technologies' understanding of the concept and plans to work with them on future projects.

Lastly, Shift3 Technologies was hired by California State University Fresno Association for a website redesign project for the Save Mart Center, an event arena in Fresno. The project involved meetings with event staff, development of wireframes and custom graphics, and migration of the site to a new content management platform, WordPress. The project was completed between July 2015 and February 2016 at a cost of $17,000. The client was satisfied with the redesign and indicated likely future engagement with Shift3 Technologies for major site changes or another redesign.
