Highlights from Recent Projects
Bitcom Systems completed a software development project for Elastic Path, an e-commerce company based in Vancouver, Toronto, and Newcastle. The challenge was to build out a lot of frontend systems across application storefronts. Bitcom Systems provided additional developers and took ownership of the delivery and development of the storefront and SDK. They also conducted tests for automation and the continuous deployment of the projects. The team of seven developers from Bitcom Systems worked hand in hand with new developers within the company to help ramp up what's needed. The partnership started in October 2018 and is ongoing, with the company investing about $40,000 per month.
In another project, Bitcom Systems developed a tourist app for Diligence-Travel, a travel company. The app provides information about hotels, tour details, and more. The CEO of Diligence-Travel worked directly with the CEO, COO, and another team member from Bitcom Systems. The partnership, which started in June 2018, is ongoing and has cost the company $15,000 so far.
Bitcom Systems also worked with an early-stage technology company focused on mental health in the workplace. The company needed a responsive website application that incorporated machine learning algorithmic interfaces and various bits of content developed externally. Bitcom Systems developed the website from scratch, working closely with the company's internal UX/UI designer. The team from Bitcom Systems also briefly provided a UI designer when the company's designer had insufficient capacity. The project, which began in October 2021, is nearing completion with the company investing about $45,000.
