Highlights from Recent Projects
Astute Communications partnered with the Civic Design Center, a nonprofit based in Nashville, to assist with a brand name change and visual identity revamp. The company was keen on transitioning from "Nashville Civic Design Center" to "Civic Design Center" and sought Astute Communication's expertise in the process. Astute Communications served as consultants, guiding the internal team in defining their brand personality, target audience, and core services. They conducted workshops based on Carl Jung's 12 brand archetypes, which helped the team create a three-dimensional brand personality and define their messaging and visuals. The final project involved translating the visuals into a website, with Astute providing guidelines on wireframes and accessibility. The project, which ran from March to July 2020, cost the nonprofit $5,500.
Astute Communications also worked with a general contractor based in Nashville to introduce a new image and logo mark. The contractor sought to honor their long-standing tradition while freshening up their language and image. Astute Communications helped to update part of their brand guidelines and design a new logo mark that the team could use on various platforms. They also helped refine the messaging that went with the new image. Despite an initial setback with the first logo mark, the team was able to deliver a final mark that everyone was happy with. The project, which ran from July to December 2016, cost the contractor approximately $6,000.
