Arter Kirkwood & Associates was hired by the Government of Saskatchewan to expand their public alerting system through the development of a mobile app and website. The project, which started in January 2016 and launched in July 2016, was based on the technology created by NetAlerts and cost between $200,000-$300,000. Arter Kirkwood rebuilt and updated both the website and mobile app (iOS and Android) for use in Saskatchewan. The company continues to maintain the app and website as needed.

In another project, Arter Kirkwood & Associates was contracted by a digital court recording company to develop a mobile app for streaming audio or video recordings. The app, which cost $25,000 and was completed between June 2011 and September 2011, allows users to apply notes using a linking technology and review them quickly. Arter Kirkwood built all the necessary components and the notetaking system, embedding the company's linking technology and a player for connecting on the Wi-Fi network.

Arter Kirkwood & Associates also worked with a municipal government to create a mobile-friendly microsite for a bus rapid transit project that was expanded to become part of the light rail transit (LRT) system. The website, which cost between $100,000–$200,000 and was completed between January 2015–March 2016, included dynamic content generated through SharePoint lists on the backend. The site also featured a map highlighting the proposed LRT route and location of each LRT station, and a timeline providing a historical background for the project and detailing future milestones.
