Apptales was hired by a wealth management company to design and develop their website and app. The company had specific expectations for functionality and Apptales was able to meet these requirements. From designing screens to providing implementation and strategy, Apptales conducted end-to-end development of the website and app. The website was built from scratch in WordPress and Drupal to work on all platforms and screen sizes. It registered on the first try, and it reroutes pages and sets up contact emails correctly. Additionally, Apptales set up hosting and storage services for the client. The partnership started in 2015 and is ongoing. So far, the client has invested over $100,000 into this project.
Apptales was contacted by the managing member of the 13th Step App, who needed an external resource to build out their app. The app was targeted towards the sober community or people in recovery and was originally intended for iOS only. However, during development, the client requested an Android version as well. Apptales developed the app from scratch, including features like messaging and profile swiping. They also integrated APPC on the backend for data collection and created a couple of different logos for the client to choose from. The engagement began in November 2017 and is still ongoing. The original development cost was $53,000 and an additional $5,000 has been spent on updates.
