Allied Code

Allied Code successfully completed a gaming design and development project for a data security solutions company. The objective was to create an engaging and educational tool to drive traffic and increase brand awareness at tradeshows. The result was a digital trivia game based on the company's products and services. The game was adaptable to different conferences, with the ability to change questions and game name as required. The client worked directly with Troy, the founder of Allied Code, who was praised for his role in conceptualizing and creating the game. The project ran from January to April 2023.

Allied Code developed a custom software for EDMO, a company providing after-school programs and summer camps. The software was a platform for accepting and managing registrations for their camp programs. It allowed admins to define program offerings and create custom registration forms. Users could browse and enroll in programs, manage payments, and edit form info. A key feature was the ability for users to create and verify their account using only a phone number, catering to families with limited access to technology. The client found Allied Code to be a great culture fit and good value for cost.

For a creative engagement agency, Mindspace, Allied Code developed custom software designed to drive engagement at the 2023 RSA Conference. The software included an iPad App developed using SwiftUI, a web application developed using Ruby on Rails and Turbo Streams, and a Postgres SQL database for storing game play statistics. The software was designed to provide a seamless, uninterrupted game play experience for conference attendees, with a private local network set up to ensure effective communication between the iPads and web application. The client chose Allied Code due to their close geographic location, great culture fit, and aligned company values.
