Highlights from Recent Projects
Acklen Avenue Custom Software Development was hired by Healthcare Bluebook, a healthcare consulting company, to develop software in partnership with IBM. The company needed additional software help as their internal team was busy with other projects. Acklen Avenue managed the project and development process, including user stories, running the Scrum process, and gathering every requirement. They also handled UI/UX development, web development, and database building. The project was built on SQL Server on the backend, .NET in the middle, and Angular on the frontend. This ongoing project began in October 2020, and the software is expected to be delivered to clients in January 2021.
SecondKeys, a real estate technology company, hired Acklen Avenue to develop a new UI/UX for their platform as part of their rebranding efforts. Acklen Avenue was chosen for their cost estimate and the skill of their designer. The project involved a detailed review of the current state of the product and the new features in development. Meetings were scheduled twice a week to review the work done and plan for the upcoming week. Once the high fidelity mockups were created, HTML and CSS development took place and was then passed to SecondKeys' internal development team.
A nonprofit investment firm hired Acklen Avenue to create an investment platform for their customers and staff. Their existing platform was outdated and didn't meet their needs. Acklen Avenue developed a platform that includes an introduction and vetting system for new investors, allows investors to connect their bank accounts, and enables them to view their account summary online. On the administrative side, the platform allows employees to view all investors and service their accounts, and it automates email notifications and paper mailing. The platform is secure and meets compliance requirements. The project began in August 2016, and while the bulk of the development is completed, Acklen Avenue continues to provide ongoing maintenance and support.
