Highlights from Recent Projects
a5 Branding & Digital was hired by the Illinois Park & Recreation Association (IPRA) to expand the reach of their Unplug Illinois public awareness campaign. The a5 team provided a range of services including art direction, development of radio PSAs, securing interviews, press releases, social media and website creation, increasing state-wide awareness of the campaign, presenting at conferences, and updating marketing materials and collateral. The IPRA Communications and Marketing Director worked closely with John Harris and his team at a5 and was satisfied with their partnership.
The Northbrook Park District in Chicago, Illinois, engaged a5 Branding & Digital for a rebranding project for their golf course, formerly known as Sportsman's Country Club. The project included the analysis of current district reports and data, community input collection, evaluation of current names and sub-brands, creation of logo design and visual identity, and development of key brand strategy initiatives. The a5 team, led by John Harris, Fletcher Martin, Lizzy Kreindler, and Elena Franck, completed the project by December 31, 2020, and provided a summary report, names/logos for the overall facility and identified sub-brands, recommendations for overall facility branding, an executive summary of the project, and presentations to the Park Board of Commissioners and staff.
Village of Niles, a local suburb outside Chicago, hired a5 Branding & Digital for marketing and advertising services to attract young families to the community. The a5 team, led by John Harris, Lizzy Kreindler, and Fletcher Martin, worked on a "resident attraction" campaign since 2019, which included social media, Google and YouTube Ads, radio ads, and print publications. They also created landing pages, consulted on PR, created written and visual content, coordinated a two-day photo shoot, provided graphic design for various programs and events, and did branding for the suburb's design district. The project, which started in November 2018, is ongoing with an annual contract renewal.
